Katie and Shannon met in Huntington Beach during their freshman year of high school and have been great friends ever since. Together they began planning events for fun, and it wasn’t long before friends and family started coming to them for help organizing parties. Their creative talents and love for event planning led to the start of Simply Exquisite Events in early 2007. Katie and Shannon’s mission is to combine their artistic talents to create extraordinary events for their clients.

Katie has been involved in independent event planning for over 5 years, during which time she worked for a décor company called Dreams Do Come True in San Diego, CA. It was here that she gained a great deal of experience as she learned not only how to plan events, but also how to use décor to develop a unique theme.

Shannon has been planning events for over 5 years. She is very creative and has a great eye for artistic detail.
